The American Legion is the nation’s largest veterans service organization, advocating for veterans, service members, and military families while fighting to end veteran suicide.
Mission
The American Legion Post 65 is dedicated to supporting veterans and their families while fostering community connections through various programs and initiatives. We proudly serve Delta, Colorado by offering resources and events that enhance the well-being of our veterans.
Our mission is to increase awareness about veterans' issues and provide valuable resources to improve the lives of those we serve. Join us as we honor and uplift our heroes.
American Legion Riders Delta Post 65
Get to Know Us
American Legion Riders chapters are well known for their charitable work, which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local children's hospitals, schools, veterans homes and severely wounded servicemembers. And since 2006, Riders nationwide have participated in The American Legion Legacy Run, first raising money for scholarships for children of U.S. military personnel killed since Sept. 11, 2001, and now for the Veterans & Children Foundation, which funds American Legion service officer training and provides grants for at-risk minor children of Legionnaires and active-duty military.
